I’m Shelley Henry, RN, President of The Amity Group, and first and always, I am a hospice nurse with over 24 years of experience.

I spent many years caring for patients at the bedside before stepping into leadership roles where I guided clinical teams and helped lead the transition from paper to electronic documentation. Even though I was heavily involved in implementing EMR systems, I didn’t fully understand how difficult electronic documentation had become until I returned to the field as the very first Amity Nurse.
